Joanne's Story
After graduating from Farmingdale H.S., I worked my way through college at the State University of New York at Farmingdale, where I got a Liberal Arts degree. Married in 1972 to Brian Stack from Plainedge H.S., who became a Nassau County cop. Had 3 children, Meredith, Gregory and Evan and lived in Levittown for 21 years before divorcing and moving to San Antonio, TX, where I have family, and where I married my current husband, Dennis Glaser, East Meadow, class of 1972. eing close to nature and all the wildlife. I volunteer at the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center, a strictly no-kill, respect for all animals facility, where they have domestic, farm, lab and exotic animals who've been rescued. Career-wise, most of my experience has been as a legal secretary, and other administrative positions, but I've also done medical recruiting. I've recently become a grandmother for the first time, and love traveling to West Palm Beach to see my grandson, Keenan. One thing I really miss about Long Island is the ocean, and West Palm gives me a chance to reconnect with it.
