Joanne's Story
Life
Was living in Halifax, NS for about 3 years, but ended up living in Fort McMurray, AB since 2003. Just bought our first big new house with my boyfriend Mark (together since 1995). We have 2 cats and no kids yet. We have all the toys we need (2 dirt bikes, quads, snowmobile, and street bike). Enjoying the good life.
College

Workplace
Was working for Pratt and Whitney after college for about 2.5 years as a manufacturing specialist. Since then I have worked in surveying for a few months, document control, and now my current position as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist for almost a year now. I write scopes of work, standards/procedures, revise drawings, perform equipment failure investigations, supervise 2 lube technicians, get to do travelling with the company (even my own company visa.. heehee). Always learning in my position.
