Joanne's Story
Some of my fondest memories are of my school years, whether at St. Boniface, Lourdes Academy or Kent State University.
I taught for four years in the Cleveland school district, then changed careers -- writing for magazines and the Sun News. In August 2013, the Sun News closed and I became a freelance writer - and semi-retired. I still write the Olmsted Dates and Data community column in the Sun Post-Herald - now in my 41st year.
I have a great husband to whom I have been married since 1977. We have two ...Expand for more
children, both married. At the almost age of 64, I finally became a grandparent. Our daughter gave us our second grandson in December 2014 and our son, our first granddaughter in July 2015.
Still in the Cleveland area and cheering any of our sports teams to victory - and a championship. Since I cannot include my email address in the message due to classmates requirements, simply use my first initial along with my last name like JDuMound and add the yahoo address.
