Life WOW life for us has changed big time since the death of our son Tyler,He was killed on Dec 5th,2007 4pm in a hunting accident. A friend who had NO business owning a gun or handling one, no safety course or license, was unloading a gun at waist level 4 feet from my son, Lever action rifle and on the 3rd unload he accidenty hit the 15lb pull trigger, bullet traveled, hit my son under his arm,Did major damage and he died 6 min later. He said he was Shot and he couldn't breath. Our family is just completely lost with out him. The funeral was Dec 9th,2007 and we had over 1000 people come to it, it was held in the highschool theatre. There is NOTHING compared to loosing a child. He was in college first year of teaching. Planned to marry his highschool sweetheart. He never judged. He was very well liked by so many. 18 is too young to die. He was such a fun, good person. He did more in his 18 years then a lot of 80 year olds have. He lived for the moment and captured it any way he could. Awesome hockey player, played guitar by ear, Curling, he loved kids and would of been a great Dad. After high school, I spent the summer in Canada like we did every year, parents owned a private island on Lake of the Woods. I dated my husband for 4 yrs all through high school. Long distance relationship, he did come down for senior prom. We decided to get married in Dec of 84. Moved to Northern Canada in April of 85 and here we stay almost 25 years later. I am getting my Canadian citizanship next year. We live in Northern Ontario. Its very cold here in the winter. -40 below 0 with out the windchill, with windchill some days its like 58 below 0. Once it snows here it never leaves until spring. kids rarely get a snow day here. I do daycare out of my home. My husband is a Pulp Truck driver, which he takes logs to paper mills. He also is a professional fresh water fishing guide since he was 14. We have 4 great kids. Tyler 18 (in college to become a teacher) Darrin 18 die hard skateboarder/snowboarder and is in a rock band.
