Joannie's Story
Um, lets see. I went to HHS 9th through 11th grades, then moved to Californiaat the beginning of my senior year. I graduated in '75 and hung out for awhile before going to college on a serious basis. I met my husband in '77 and married in '80-same year I decided to take college seriously.
I went to a community college in Huntington Beach, Ca and graduated with my associates in nursing in '84.
My first child was born in '86 with a second following in '88- boy and a girl! We lived in Los Alamitos with our kids for 9 years. I wor...Expand for more
ked nights in pediatrics at Long Beach Memorial Hospital.
In '96 we loaded up the minivan and moved to Houston Texas where I have been living for the last 13 years. My son graduates (:=)) in December and my daughter is in her junior year.
I have been working at Texas Children's hospital in the Intensive Care unit since moving here. In '06 I started classes at a community college and graduated this past May from University of Texas Health Science Center Houston with my Bachelor's in nursing.
