Jodi's Story
After I graduated, I had a son &moved to CA for 10
years being a in-home health caregiver. I moved back here & became the assistant manager for the
Everett I-5 Mini Storage for 8 months. Then went to
TX & became a CNA for 5 years, but didn't get back
here until a yr. ago. I'm disabled & can't work any-
more but I've learned to live with that. I have 3
beautiful grandchildren, one in CA, and two here in
Everett. I am a published poet & I love to draw. I
remember the class reading "The Red Pony" by John
Steinbeck when I was called to read a paragraph . I
didn't know where we were because I was writing. Theteacher tried to make me read it & I refused to, so
I was sent in the hall. It was a poem I had written.

me in trouble. Also, Carlene Sheppard was my best friend in school. I used to live
on 67th and ride the bus with the kids from the LaJoy
Edition- The Fitzgeralds, Sue Lewis, Bob Maple, etc. I
didn't have many friends. I have started a new relationship with someone about two months ago and I'm very happy. He is the one I've been looking for all my life. I gave up on trying to be happy and there he was right in front of me. I sure hope and pray that it will last as he is the only one that has ever made me happy. I pray to God everyday for this. This is the end of July and I am still so very happy with my relationship. I think I found my sole mate.
