Life
Wow. Has it really been more than 20 years? Lots has happened since the reunion in 1994 (couldn't make the 2004 one). Graduated from Law School, worked in the State Legislature, and then for Arizona Governor Jane Hull as her policy advisor for 6 years. After her second term ended, I left to lobby and run government relations for a large private sector company. Since 2003, my husband and I (uh...that's husband #2, more on that later) formed our own public affairs company and have been happy policy wonks/government dorks ever since.
On the personal side- my beautiful daughter Natalie Paige just turned 12, gets straight A report cards, swims, jet-skis, and (gulp) cheerleads! My stepson Aaron is 16, plays electric guitar rivaling Hendrix (yes!), gets respectable grades, and enjoys independent films. Oh, and he's very suave with the ladies. ke) there is my amazing husband Bruce, who plays piano and guitar, reads, collects vinyl classic rock albums, and writes music. As for me, I am still a book nut- I collect antique, rare and first editions. Every wall in our home is covered with them. I really am a political geek and do campaigns and initiatives, along with Bruce. Other than that, I'm working on the Great American Novel- but don't look for me on the New York Times bestseller list anytime soon- only two chapters so far. Together Bruce and I like to travel Europe, antique, and spend time at the beach. We were married on a beautiful rocky cliff, right at the ocean's edge in Laguna Beach, California in the Summer of 2002.
Of course, I'm giving you all the highlights and skipping the lowlights- which are REALLY juicy and probably a lot more interesting! Hope to make the next reunion, would love to hear from old friends! -Jodi (Robbins) Liggett
