Life Hello Friends, It is hard to believe that 30 years since we walked across the stage to get that piece of paper that presents our freedom from school, teachers, our parents and the ticket to new adventures. The road of life has many curves and wonderful straight aways. My road lead me to college in South Bend, IN. I graduated in 79 with AA in Accounting and Computer programing. In the fall of 79, I joined US Army, where I did plenty of traveling. (Fort Riley, Ks to Bremerhaven, GE to Guadetmala). After 4 yrs of Active Duty I returned to civilian life. I worked a bookkeeper than 1985 went to work in '85 at the WI Alumni Research Foundation. I am still currently employeed by WARF. I was deployed in '91 for Desert Storm and again in '03 for (2 yrs) Operation Enduring Freedom (Spt for IRAQ Freedom) I retired from the Army in Nov 05 after serving for 27 years. While in the Army I meet my first husband, Kevin Grauvogl. We had two sons, Kraig 29 and Kurt 27. Kurt who is the proud father of my handsome grandson Jacob. He turned 4 in June.
