Jodie's Story
Life
Hi,
I am now living in the Los Angeles area, after living in many cities after college. I went to Portchester High School in 10th grade only, but went through PortChester Junior High. I moved to Trumbull, CT, and graduated in 1975. I left and went to American International College in Springfield, Mass, for 2 years. Then I transferred to Arizona State University, where I graduated with my degrees in Elementary/Special Education in 1979. I taught in Phoenix for 3 years, before moving back to Conn, to get my MBA at U. of CT. I got a job working in marketing in Greenwich, but after a trip to Los Angeles, I was offered the job of a lifetime. m there I moved to different jobs, working my way up an Agency, where I became a Theatrical Agent. After a short time, I became a Personal Manager for actors, with my own company: Cooper Management. I worked in the entertainment industry until marrying and starting a family, at which time I moved back to Phoenix, Arizona. I divorced shortly after moving there, and after a few years, moved back to the Los Angeles area. I am now teaching again, and have two wonderful children. My son is 14and my daughter is 12. They are both wonderful kids, good students, and have varied interests which keep me very busy. I can't believe it, but I've become a soccer mom! That's my life in a nutshell, but there are many more stories "between the lines".
