Jody Soland:  

I moved to Nashville right out of high school, and worked as a singer, and went to nursing school. I graduated as a nurse tech in PASR SICU, and sang all over Tennessee. When I met my husband ( singer-songwriter) we were engaged and moved to Illinois, ( where his family is from). We worked as a duo, and I went on the road touring with a band for a few years before we were married in Lake Geneva, WI. We started working as a duo again, and moved back to Nashville. We performed around town, did studio work, and performed on the tv shows You Can Be a Star, and I-40 paradise, and co-wrote with amazing writers. Both of us also worked day jobs ( me in nursing, Gary in Graphic Arts). We built our first house near Nashville, and had our son Nathan there. Gary's company offered him a great job opportunity in Ohio, and we made the move. (near Akron ). Since living in Ohio, we had our second son, Logan.
