The summer after Grant, I took my first trip to Israel and I was hooked. I then went on to get my BA in Psychology and certification in Business and Administration from UCLA. Immediately upon graduation, it was back to Israel again to learn Hebrew. I planned to go for one year and ended up staying three (1984-1987). In those years, I did learn Hebrew, Jewish studies, and met my husband Brian from the Bay Area. We moved to Berkeley to get our second degrees and plan our aliyah (move to Israel). We were married in August 1988. In 1990 I rec'd my Masters in Social Work from Berkeley and then worked in Hospice Care and with seniors until we moved in 1994 with a 3 year old son and 1 year old daughter. We chose to make Jerusalem our home. We live in a very lovely and eclectic neighborhood which is also a "hot spot" for cafe's, boutiques, etc. In 2001 I changed careers and opened an organizing business specifically for paperwork.
