After H.S., worked at Louis Allis Co. for 1 year 4 months.
Was drafted in July, 1969, opted to take delay program, but had to enlist an extra year. Tour date 10/1969 to 4/1972. Honorable discharge and I got an early out. After boot camp, went to Advaced Individual Training, then sent to Germany for 2 plus years. I was in Special Weapons - building the big puppies. I was a Staff Sgt, responsible for the troops. ked out and did not have to go to Nam. Came home in 1972 - went back to work for LA,6 months. (boring) Then landed a job with Harley-Davidson. Started in Data Processing, now called Information Services. Was a computer operator, advanced to supervisor of operations. Did that for 16 years. Them moved up to the position of Security Analyst. Resposible for HD assests and interest. Great Job!! Great People!! As of May, 2009, I will be celebrating my 36th year with the HD family. I am looking forward to retirement - someday! I hope to hear from some of you folks who remember. I met a few on Facebook and it is unreal. Take care everyone. Retired from Harley-Davidson May,2013 (40 plus years)
