When I was 20 years old I was riding my motorcycle and I was hit Head On by a pickup truck. The impact crush & broke my Tibia & Fibula. The driver of the truck never stopped it was a hit & run. I had 10 surgery on my leg to save it because it was also crush by the impact. They did a muscle flap & plastic surgery plus a lot of surgery to remove infected & dead skin. I was in a cast for a year and only have some movement with my ankle and I walked with a limp plus in constant pain. When I was 25 years old I got married and had a kid son (Matthew Cammorata). s old and my Ex-wife remarried when I was 30 years old. The new husband one day ask me why I walk with a limp and I was telling the story of what happen and got about half way with the story and he stop me and finish the story of when I was hit. It was him (My Ex-wife Husband) he said he was drunk and got scared and went to another state for 2 years. I Finally found out after 10 years who hit me!
Through out the years I slowly was gaining weight and the pain in my leg increased. I had high blood pressure, Arthritis in my legs, Asthma, and signs of diabetes, Plus I smoked. At 49 years old my weight got to about 300lbs. So I need it to do something about my weight on 2/2/2008 I started a diet & stopped smoking. Changing what and the way I eat Plus one hour of exercise a day by 9/2008 I lost a 150lbs. My Blood pressure is normal, No more asthma and I no longer have pain in my leg and do not walk with a limp.".
