Life
Three days after our graduation I started with the Portsmouth Police Dept. as a Patrol Aid. I went through the police academy in 1987 and stayed with the deaprtment until I retired in October of 2003. Yes- I said I retired. I had a side business of landscaping and tree removal from 1999-2004 and was very busy after Hurricane Isabel hit us in Sept. of 2003. me home in November of 2004 I learned a friend whom I had worked for in SWAT and Narcotics on the PPD had also retired and then hired as Chief of Police at the Norfolk Airport PD. He made me an offer I couldn't refuse ($$$) so I went to work there in December of 2004 and that's where I'm at today.
