Joe's Story
Well since graduating in 1979 I've lived in a few states. Settled in Maryland and my wife, Doris and I married in 1989 and started our own business in Burtonsville. Burgundy Press, then moved it to Laurel in 1992. We have been located on Lafayette Ave since then. We started as a small commercial printer, grew with the economy over the years, and now are a digital print provider. We produce business stationary, large format banners and posters, books, and specialty items. In 2011 we added embroidery and apparel decorating. located in Chesterfield SC. We raise Heritage Dexter Cattle for show, sale, and beef. It is truly a gourmet beef and we also sell it at Burgundy Press. Our cows are free range, no hormones, and best of all very friendly. Check out the farm web site, naturesafefarm.com to see them. The one thing I never thought I'd be was a cattle farmer... but I love it. I live in Chesterfield SC and commute to MD for the printing business. I have one daughter who teaches elementary school in P .G. County and is finishing her Master Degree this year. Life is good, hope yours is too!
