Joe's Story
After graduation I worked for the government in Washington, D.C. for one year. I then returned home and enrolled in Point Park Jr. College. The Vietnam War was heating up, so I joined the Army and went through airborne training. I graduated from Ft. Benning jump school as a paratrooper and was assigned to the 173rd Airborne Brigade.They were being sent to Vietnam when I joined them.So, I, too, went to Vietnam where I stayed for 17 mos. raduated from California State University at Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. We have three children and now nine grandchildren. In April 1971 I committed my life to Jesus Christ and became a born again Christian. For the last 12 years I was a full time evangelistic minister with the Christian Motorcycle Assn. I retired from them in 2012 and was asked to help a small church in Squaw Valley, CA. Today I am the Senior Pastor for Sanctuary Worship Center in Squaw Valley, CA. And, yes, I am still riding motorcycles. I have a 2012 Harley Davidson Road King.
