After graduating from KU, I took a job in Lawrence as a letter carrier and did that for seven years. I had a growing desire to serve God as a minister, so I sold my house in 1990 and moved to L.A. to go to seminary. e L.A. area. Family obligations brought me back to Overland Park in 1997, and my family and I have been here ever since. I worked for Sprint for nearly ten years but then left (voluntarily) last year, and now I'm preparing to reenter the ministry. My wife and I had five boys along the way--oldest is 16 and youngest is 4--and they keep us plenty busy!
