Joel's Story

Life Hi everyone! Hope you are all well and prospering. I've been doing great. I got out of my business back in 94, got divorced (so it goes) and got into aerospace. Actually opened up a huge opportunity for me. I have traveled the world and launched satellites from China, Japan, Russia(Khazakstan), French Guiana. as well as the Cape. Just when I thought I'd be a bachelor for the rest of my life (and loving it by the way) I met a fantastic young woman through a mutual friend. We fell head over heels for each other and after dating for three years got married May 17th! I've changed positions at work and am now an R&D engineer so I get to stay home with my new family. It's a big change in my life and I love it. 5 years...Expand for more
later... Yes my friends I wrote the profile above in 2002. So I'm a little bit slow! Been busy raising a family and turning 50. Personally I never expected to live this long. Since I last wrote in here I've crashed my motorcycle (once again) but had run out room and no cars too close. Tore through my leathers and leg a little but really no worse for the wear. Lucky huh? My wife and I are doing well and I started my own Handyman and Remodling business so now I'm a contractor. I really do like self employment alot. Sorta miss the rocket biz though. Have one son in college and with Gaby we have a son who is a senior, a freshman daughter and another boy in middle school. They sure keep us busy! Hope you are all well too!! Joel
