joel's Story
After just over 15 years in the banking and real estate appraisal fields, I made a huge change. In the late 80's with the crash of the savings and loan industry, I felt I needed a new career. And I found a dream. Went to a school called the San Diego Golf Academy and became a golf pro. Got my PGA card and for the last 20 years, have worked in the golf industry at country clubs and...Expand for more
resorts. Presently, I am the Director of Instruction at a resort in New Hampshire in the summer and teach golf in Florida during the winter. In between seasons, I have found another absolute pleasure. I go on cruises all over the Caribbean and Mexico, stopping at various ports to (but of course) play golf. I guess an appropriate description of me now is, in many ways, very lucky.
