Joel Nyman:  

Life has been interesting since leaving Northwood. Attended U of MD for 2 years till I got bored. Did some retail jobs while deciding what I wanted to do and finally decided I wanted to go into the IT field. Took some computer programming courses and got a job programming for a national software company in 1969. After a couple of other IT jobs, I wound up with a company that transferred me to Los Angeles in 1974. Lived in LA till 1979 when I was offered a position in San Antonio, TX and moved to take that position. Lived in San Antonio for 34 years working in the IT field doing propriety systems for a couple of companies with the majority of my time as Director of Foreign Systems for a company that had operations in Mexico, South America and the Caribbean. In 2011, my life took a major hit as my wife of 15 years died from complications of a severe form of Parkinson's Plus.
