Life
The Summer of 1972 was busy, I wanted to look up some of those girls in my Valencia HS year book, and on my 'statistics' list. But had to work, parents left for MA, and I had to move to Santa Ana. Tried CSUF for 1 year, but ran out of money, and wouldn't attend if I couldn't play Water Polo. Hitchhiked, and traveled around country for about a year and thought I would get VA benefits to finish college by joining the Army...Ugh. Got out of the Army in 77 in Alaska, but worked at USPS for 4 or 5 years. During that time I decided to attend Bible College for one or two semesters because I could learn what I wanted there as opposed to attending church services. I have been too poor to fly and attend the 10 year reunion, or the 20 year reunion, (Tried, ask Mary Kay Walker). Tried to start some businesses in Alaska without money, got some debt instead. Moved to Florida in 83. The result was the equity I had built in my Alaska house was lost because of poor choice of property management. We...Expand for more
nt back to college at local community college and then the University of Central Florida using the VA benefits and student loans and a paper route...Ugh. Graduated Dec 1990 Computer Science, minor in math. Bet that was later than most of you. Now really poor as I've stated the 1992 reunion was out, (didn't even try). Started work, but then an opportunity arrose to start and run and English Pub 'Sweeney Todds' downtown Orlando, FL on Church Street, (tourist area). That didn't last long but was a good experience. Went back to work in my major from college. However, I never expected to be a Database Administrator, mostly Oracle. Married in May of 1990, No kids unfortunately. I keep a positive outlook, I'm really working hard to get to the 30 year reunion (2002), however it's looking like things are going to get in the way again. My wife is unable to get the time off. Perhaps, if enough classmates really wanted me to show up I might fly out by myself from Florida. I'm out of space. Bye :)
