Joellyn's Story
Hi all: Lots has happened in my life since graduating from West Fulton in 1965. I moved back to Minnesota to attend the University. Then I lived in Chicago for 15 years, where I met my wonderful husband of 37 years, Bill Savage. We moved to San Diego just after our wedding and lived there and in LA for the next 23 years. I got my MBA from the U of CA-Irvine in 1999. In 2007, we moved to Buckeye, Arizona so my husband could retire and play golf all year 'round! ecializing in construction insurance. In 2015, I retired and have been busier than ever. I volunteer in our St John Vianney parish and for the West Valley Genealogical Society, as well as serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Home Owners Association within our community. We love living in the desert!!
Although I have no kids of my own, Bill came into my life with four wonderful children. That has been enough for me! All four have become delightful, smart and loving people, Now we have six grandchildren, ranging from 31 years to 11 years of age and are blessed with 2 great-grandsons! Life is wonderful and joyful ... couldn't ask for more!
