Joey's Story

Life 4/9/07 - Just had an absolutely, totally unexpected Surprise Birthday party for the big 75. Family and friends flew in from everywhere. It was a huge whingding at a casino in Las Vegas where my son lives. Am very happy, very healthy and very busy volunteering in (too) many things. I think of most of you frequently. I travel a lot, with tours, but mostly with my family. My son, his family and friends have "done" French Polynesia, Fiji, and a lot of the U.S. My daughter is only into Hawaii. Other than that I have seen Europe, the British Isles, Africa, China, and a lot of S.E. Asia. However my goal is to spend "quality time" in ALL of our National Parks including all those in Alaska. I can't find me here under Joey Dixon (193...Expand for more

When I sold my vineyard I also sold my excuses for not volunteering outside of my industry. I am now doing "good deeds" for four local places on a weekly basis and many others on call. In between I garden, travel and read. I can still wear my high school clothes (I saved a couple of favorites) although they don't fit quite the same way. In addition to that I have been very blessed with excellent health. I bore my doctor. Also look forward to a reunion that doesn't require traveling from San Miguel, CA for only a brunch. Perhaps soneone would like to arrange a Saturday event (a potluck picnic in City Park)?
