John's Story
I went to Horace Mann in Shawnee for the 3rd through the 7th Grade, and then went to the junior high in Shawnee up through the the 9th grade when my family moved up to Del City to be closer to Tinker Field where my parents both worked. I often regretted not being with my childhood friends in Shawnee all the way through high school.

ond. After working in radio broadcasting for a while, I later received a Master's Degree at NSU in Tahlequah and later earned my Ph.D. at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. I still live in the DC area (in Alexandria, Virginia, where I own an information consulting company and teach English literature at the University of Maryland).
I look forward to hearing from all of my former classmates. Hope the years have been kind to all of you!
