John's Story
Born on 6/6/59 in Detroit,Mich. My parents passed when I was 10 years old. Spent a couple of years as a ward of the state. Moved to L.I. , N.Y. with my aunt and uncle and at the age of 16 we moved to Goshen, N.Y. where I graduated from GSC in 1978. Joined the U.S.Army in August of 1978, Spent 3.5 months at Ft. Leonardwood, Missouri.. Dec. 1978 was sent to W. Germany, C.Co. 547th. ENGR. Battalion. Met my wife in Darmstadt, W. Germany. I loved it there. Left Germany in june of 1982 and transferred too Ft.Polk, La.. Got married in Spring Lake, N.C.. Moved my wife and her daughter to New Llano, La. We had a daughter together. Left the service on Feb. 28, 1984 and moved to Spring Lake, N.C. Spent 7 yrs. working as a recon. specialist. Spent a couple of yrs. in Tenn. Moved to Virginia in 1992 where my life fell apart. Learned some valuable lessons. Divorced in 1993 have 2 daughters. The last 18 yrs. have been chaotic at best... March 23,1998 My son Matthew was born and on Jan.15,2007 He was taken. ew. I do not visit this site much... I entered GCH.S. quietly and left just as quiet. Never left my mark. I am older now as you all are,and I don't believe many of you remember me. I am not offended by this after all we were just teens. I now resiide in Va.,and I've lived here for the past 12 yrs. It seems that I've spent most of my adult life in the south. I do however miss the north,and I do travel back to Goshen and the surronding area from time to time. The only person who I have trusted on this planet has been Larkin Geer. We still keep in touch although our lives are completely different. He is still kind of laid back unlike me....BEST FRIENDS to the end.. I play a game that has taught me many things, I'm not a player; though I have been played,and many times. Well, that is bascially my life story. Never dull or boring and always reaching higher..I am easily accessible I do not hide from anyone. If you wish to keep in touch with me I am on a couple of social sites
