John's Story
Life
After graduating (finally, in September 1976) I made a couple of dismal attempts at college, learned a lot, earned no degree, and went to work. Played music for $ between 1977 and 1986. Made it almost 2 years with no "day job." Sold everything under the sun at various companies (irrigation equipment, shoes, spas, waterbeds, you name it) until getting a job in the MI (music industry) world. gie amplifiers, Mojo Musical Supply, Furman Sound Co., and Digital Music Corp. Married and divorced twice, I have two great kids, Graeme (24) and Garrett (21). Now I play music just for the fun of it, and do a lot of geeky stuff like birdwatching and reading esoteric occult literature. I am still in contact with about a dozen of us rapidly aging Righetti alumni. There are a bunch of Righettis (and other Swiss-Italian families, many of them dairy farmers) up here in Sonoma County. Go figure.
