John's Story
Hi: I was looking at the photos from ¿75. I can¿t believe how old everybody got. Thank goodness it hasn¿t happened to me. ;) . I remember when my biggest goal was to buy a motorcycle so I could be independent of the bus. I¿ve had around 15 motorcycles since then and I have the scars and broken bones to prove it. I don¿t know about you, but life has dealt me many different hands, some good and some not so much. All in all we just do the best we can and hope for God¿s blessing. I am currently living in Nogales, AZ and I work in Mexico, I¿m kind of a reverse wetback. We moved our business from Chicago when our customers moved their assembly plants to Mexico. o talk my brother and sister into moving here too. I never thought I would like the desert, after all we used to ride our boats to school now and then, but I have really come to love it here. Actually I am 6 hours away from the Sea of Cortez and when things get to cold here, less than 80, I head for the San Carlos or Puerto Penasco to do some fishing or just relaxing. It¿s been over a decade since I was last in Florida and the last time I was there it was nothing like I remembered. The pizza place on the beach, the single story shops, corny motels, and Big Daddy¿s all gone. Did you ever pool hop from motel to motel? Oh well everything changes and so do we.
