Life
I am surprised by the number of visits to my profile...thanks!
I have been blessed with good fortune despite an extensive medical history. Kidney disease and heart disease have been part of my life for over two decades, but currently I am doing well. That has given me perspective in what really matters.
As most of you know, I have been a cellist for most of my life and now I enjoy it more than ever. I play in a string quartet and occasional other chamber music. When I was paid to play, I hated it but now it is so much fun. There is nothing like playing Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms and so many other great composers.

ow under a fine conductor, Peter Wilson who was a colleague of mine in the US Marine Band. He is still there as a violinist, I having retired years ago. Through him and my former stand partner I have been kept abreast of developments in the band. However, just about everyone I knew has now retired!
Am a grand dad finally, have twin girls from my older son. Younger son has been in a long term relationship but they have not gotten married yet... And I am still married, coming up on 35 years. I did go to a class get together several years ago and noticed many women looking at my left hand and abruptly turning away. It was quite funny to me.
