Life I guess I have been a pretty busy gut since I left Huntington. In August 1965 I was unemployed and when Johnson said he was doubling the draft I enlisted in the Navy to avoid it. 23 years later I finally retired and then worked for the government for a year before going to work as a civilian contractor for the government installing electronic communications equjipment for them aboard Navy ships and then retired from that after 15 years so I am now retired. I figured if they taught me to be an electronics technition then I would put it to use.I only returned home about 5 times while in the service. I was never stationed aboard a ship in my 23 years but I was in about 40 different countries over a span of 15 years living outside the U.S. being able to go to places like london,paris, rome, vienna, athens and throughout europe far surpassed reading ab...Expand for more
