John's Story

After high school, I kicked around Boise working odd jobs until enlisting in the Army in 1986. I entered boot camp in 1987 and ETS'd in 1990. I quickly earned an Associate's Degree at Elizabethtown Community College and started my career in Information Technolog...Expand for more
y. For the past 18 years, I have been working as a Defense Contractor in the Army's premier Battle Lab on Fort Benning, GA. I very occasionally return to the Treasure Valley, but always remember life in the Valley and the mountains toward Idaho City very fondly.

I just canned 12 half-pints of homemade apple butter! 1 1/2 cups went to an open container in the fridge, but I was able to put these up from some of the apples we got from Misfits Market.
