arch. I got drafted in in 1957 and did bacteriology in the army. I liked bacteriology in school but discovered I didn't enjoy doing it as a job. I went back to Stanford in 1958 to the Division of Physical Therapy and graduated from there in 1959.
I got married and after working for many years in California my family and I moved to Wisconsin in 1970 (to get away from all of the people and traffic).
My wife passed away from leukemia in 1995. I retired in that year. I remarried in 1998. Our home is on a heavily wooded 20 acres in Juneau County. I much prefer living in the country to living in any city.
