research has been on meteorites of various kinds, but early on I worked on Apollo 15-17 lunar rocks, and at MU I did a thesis on a potential Cu-Ni ore body that I named the "Deer Lake Complex" (Itasca Co., MN). I spent 28.5 years as a professor of Geosciences at SUNY Fredonia (SW of Buffalo), and served nearly 14 years there as department chair. I am now retired, a fairly avid Bills and Sabres fan, and am married to a really nice person named Mira. We have two grown children -- Jory and Alex -- and 2 dogs and four cats.".
