John's Story
Life
I was diagnosed with an illness and suffered a lot in the years after high school. A guy named Scott Ellis overdosed me on speed ball in an attempt to make me comitt suicide. He tried to murder me. I had a nervous breakdown from the overdose. I was diagnosed with drug induced schizophrenia and bipolar disease. I couldn't accept the conditions of my life and fought my way out of a personal hell. It took me years to rehabilitate myself. I took back my life and pursued my dreams. I've been soul searching for quite some time and have realized over the past couple of years that I am Christian. I still hate Scott Ellis. I hope he goes to hell.
School
The teacher that inspired me the most would have to be my Oracle, UNIX and Java instructor at the local community college. I'm going to become an OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) for DBA (Database Administrator) and OCP (Oracle Certified Professional) for Developer.

om Strayer University with an Associate of Arts in Database Technology in September of 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Database Technology in December of 2007. I plan to continue to graduate school to do a 6 + 6 program between Strayer and UVA. I'm planning to get a Master of Science in Information Systems with a specialization in Computer Security Management from Strayer and transfer in a graduate level certificate in Information Security Management from UVA. I'm also planning to attend UMUC (University of Maryland University College) to get a Doctoral in Management in Information Technology with a specialization in Security Management.
Workplace
I've worked alot of internships over the past thirteen years including jobs with the Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL), the United States Postal Service, Federal Express, the Department of Defense, the University of Virginia (UVA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the Department of Commerce, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Department of Labor.
