John's Story
Hi all Elko Class of 71!
I did not graduate from Elko High though I wish I had - family moved to Vegas halfway through the 9th grade.
I lived in Elko from 61-67, attended Southside Elementery, teachers were Mrs. Scott and I think Mrs. Rogers. Class mates I remember John Moore, Sylvester Green, Steve Dankowski, Fredrica Garate, John or Jack Rose, Jack Thompson; Mr. Ridgeway was my 6th grade teacher; Jr. High class mates I recall Fred Coburn, Debbie Black, Julie Smith, A Sylvia (maybe Lugo I saw in the community board)Steve Brush (Boy Scout Troop 53), Peter Butcher?; teachers Mr. Moody (band), Mr. Fergerson, Mrs. East...Expand for more

What have I done over the last 45 years - 20 years Army Retired, 10 years Police/Corrections Retired, 15 years this and that. Have one son now 45 years old, two grandsons 19 and 17 years old. Am divorced but still with the ex, and now semi-retired in Arizona.
Right now taking the time to try and put my past in Elko together - I don't have much for pictures but many memories and just want to sort it all out.
