John's Story
What's my story? It's a work in progress. I know one thing, I live life the way I want to live it and the way I pictured it "back in day". I knew I'd never be a multimillionaire, I'm right about that. I knew I'd marry and have kids. Got that ! 1 wife, 3 kids (son 7,son 5 and daughter 3). I knew I'd work in a field that was of interest to me, I work in Environmental Services, I enjoy it and it provides for my family. I knew I'd keep in regular contact with my closest friends (Dan McCabe, Mike Sakala, Scott Bemis and Brian Libby). I knew that no matter what society says about how people should act I will act the way I want to along as it is positive to my family life and my own personal sense of right. me with my wife and kids, I will not let work consume my life, I go see live music of all types frequently, I maintain a relatively active lifestyle:workout, bike, hike, work on the house. Keep doing the activities that I want to do: play instruments, garden(starting back up in 2008) shooting hoops, skiing (no more West trips though, bummer) and seeing family (Brother - 7 kids, Sister 3-kids). I've gone to every reunion and have really enjoyed everyone of them, I get to see people that I enjoyed knowing in high school and catching up on their lives. You know this will be the only time you get to talk and see these people so it holds it's importance in one's life experiences. Enjoy each day, let the crap slide past and LIVE.
