John's Story

I left the U.S. in 1990 and went to Saudi Arabia to work as a Paramedic. I stayed there for four years, then i moved to Qatar. I stayed there for two years starting up a national Ambulance Service. While i was in Saudi i met an Irish nurse and we got married in Thailand. When we got ready to leave Qatar, i asked her where she wanted to live and...Expand for more
she said Ireland. I agreed that we would live in Ireland, but when i retire i want to come home. I am living in Adare, Co. Limerick, Ireland now and im the EMS Training Manager for the Mid-West of Ireland, and im over all the Advanced Paramedics in this region. I have two kids over here, Caoilainn and Sean, and im so looking forward to retiring
