John's Story
Hello Fellow classmates.
My name is John Camp and I graduated Brandon High School in 1964 receiving the Sally Ninenger Award for most improved student.
I played trumpet in the marching and concert bands under the direction of Mr. James. We were rated in the top five in state during my tenure.
My Favorite teachers were Mr. Knight (English teacher) and Mrs.English (also an English teacher).
I joined the Air Force after graduation, attended 44 weeks of Electronic and Telephony School at Keesler AFB, MS. and Sheppard, AFB, KS and was assigned to a year duty in Thailand frequently traveling into Vietnam on a weekly basis.
I received an honorable discharge in 1968 and accepted a GS-7 pos...Expand for more
ition in Civil Service in the Telephony field and moved on to the Private Sector after 9 years of Civil Service.
I'm currently employed full time as National Sales and Marketing Director for a manufacturer of Security/Access Control Systems based here in Southern California.
My lovely wife of 38 years (a realtor here in Southern California) and I raised three children, two boys and a girl and have one grand daughter that is three years old.
Now that the children are out of the home (they're never really out of the home), my wife and I are thoroughly enjoying our life style, have a wonderful circle of friends, and our kids claim we party like a couple of immature
