John's Story
Life
I am 17 years married to Stacey who I met when I moved to Texas from Colorado in 1982. We have a 10 year old son Jonathan who keeps us active and always on the go.
I attended the United States Air Force Academy through the fall semester of my senior year and majored in Mechanical Engineering. I separated from the Air Force in 1982 due to the loss of my pilot's qualification for a color vision deficiency and moved to Texas. in Civil Engineering in 1984 and received my MBA from the University of Texas in 1992.
I make occasional trips back to the D.C. area on business for the Texas Department of Transportation where I have worked for the past 18 years. I am a licensed Professional Engineer, and the Director of Right of Way for the Texas DOT.
I have made both the 10 year and 20 year reunions of the GCM class of '78 and look forward to the upcoming 30th to reacquaint once again with old friends.
