Life
Everything I have done I can honestly say I don't regret. Very few bad decisions have been mad long some good ones. Alot has changed for me sinc I have joined the military. I had to change my way of life and start a new one. Most of the friends I had back home during school I had to give up. That was probably the hardest decision for me to make. It did not last long though, for I have made friends for life along with losing some of those who were close to me.
For those who remeber me, I dated a girl name Kristie during school. My first love if that's what you want to call it. Part of our relationship was spent with me being overseas. Then she joined the Citadel in Charleston. I was very proud of her for doing this. Unfortunately she did not last long for she was medically discharged a few months afterwords. ip came to an end. Shortly after, for reasons I do not know, she was discharged and sent back home to start over again. Another unexplainable thing happened. She started dating someone who I thought was my best friend. They have been going out now for atleast a year or two. Am I mad? Yes. Are they still my friends? Somehow, yes. There are things I have no control over and one of them is other people lives. I only have cotrol of my own life so I moved on.
It's amazing how much of an impact a single person can hgave on other's lives. During my 3 and half years I have made friends that 10 years from now I can see us getting together to talk about what has happened since we last met. I have 2 and half more years to go. I am happy with what I have done up to this point and although I may run into some more rough times before I get out, I will still be happy no matter what.
