John's Story
I left MRHS my sophomore year to go to a private school (Principia Upper school campus) outside of St. Louis, MO. My parents moved to Connecticut from Mass. shortly afterwards. When I was at Cole Elem., there were either no class pictures taken, or my parents lost them while attending 7th & 8th grade. Same with class pictures or year books while at Masconomet.
I moved from Connecticut to California in 1968 because I was a pilot at the time, and jobs were a-plenty in CA. but not in MA. or CT. In CA., started out as a flight instructor, then corporate pilot. eacher, after 26 years in Plant Mfg. management for a VARIETY of companies. Lately, been teaching for 9 years. Moving at the end of this year to Redding, CA. near Mt. Shasta, to teach there.
Have a boy, J R (24) a fire system technician, two girls Melanie (26) a C.S. journal listed nurse, Jessica (27) a chef and baker, and a stepdaughter Amy (won't say) a h.s. teacher. Was married three times (two disasters) and with Lynn for 17 yrs. until she passed on over three years ago.)
I met my fourth wife, Barbara, online. She retired with the Los Angeles Teacher's Union as their Controller. She passed on three years ago. I retired from teaching six years ago.
