Life
Once a geek, always a geek. I've spent most of my adult life in Texas, and most of that running a small software firm. However, as of 2012, I'm a full-time faculty member in the Computer Science Department at The University of Texas at Dallas. ally shook in front of Mr. Bracken's speech class now stands in front of a classroom and talks for hours. That all started at IIT in 1971. I still do some extracurricular programming and software engineering.
The photo was taken in my home office in 2007, and is the same one I use on my UTD site. The books in the background have changed but I haven't. I work out of the house most of the time when I'm not teaching.
