John's Story

Life I'm a Catholic Missionary priest, a member of the Missionary Society of St. Columban. I have been in the Philippines most of the time since 1973. I get back to the United States about every two years. I have been involved in parish work, vocation recruitment, spiritual direction, work with lay missionaries and campus ministry act...Expand for more
ivities. I hope my friends remember me as kind and faithful, I enjoy plaing tennis with my Filipino friends and our joking at meals. I admire other Columbans priests, sisters and lay missionaries in their care for others. Most of the time I have lived in the greater Manila area. My first assignment had been in Zambales for three years.
