John's Story
Life
I'm living in San Francisco's Mission District now, and have spent almost 20 years in the Bay Area. I got married in Fall 2007 in Tulum, Mexico. After ten years of working for large telecommunications companies in middle-to-senior management, I quit to pursue acting. I acted part-time: commercial television, voiceover, and modeling. And I had a semi-regular role on a Japanese TV show.

For volunteer work, I help with intellectual property protection for the arts organization Burning Man.
School
I have to say I had a pretty miserable time in school. My family life was not happy, and I lacked a lot of esteem and maturity. Much of the time I was frustrated about not fitting in. Sounds like a John Hughes movie, really. Ha! I don't miss it a bit. But I had a handful of really close friends for whom I'm thankful to this day.
