John's Story
1961-1966 A not very memorable, socially awkward student, afflicted with what is now known as ADD. I was the typical nerd (and not the smart kind), I loved music (Choir), magic, and photography. Still do. It was all I could do to keep my grades at C level. I paid way too much attention to the girls (not that they noticed)

1966-1967 Entered active federal service. Joined the Army, trained for 14 weeks, shipped out to Europe on Thanksgiving, and then to Vietnam 6 months later.
1967-1968 Dodged bullets and general mayhem for 12 months, while working in one of the largest ammunition depots in the world at Longbinh, 12 mil...Expand for more
es south of Saigon. Got to enjoy the 68 Tet offensive in January.
1968 Returned home, re-trained at Fort Sam Houston, and spent the next 42 years as a Radiographer.
1970 Married, had 3 children.
1980 Divorced
1983 Re-married, had two children.
1987 Retired from the Army as an SFC Radiography Instructor.
1987-2011 Worked as a Radiographer, CT Tech, MRI Tech and DEXA Tech in and around medical facilities in the San Antonio area.
2005 Lost my youngest son (21)
2011-present RETIRED!!!
There has been a lot of water under the bridge, but I have many fond memories of my times at MHS, and the people I grew up with.
