Well work has slipped away in the night starting in November 2013. Retirement is great. Spent two weeks in Morocco late 2019. Carnival in Venice. Each year I travel to Europe to assist with English immersion programs for local executives in their countries. Departed Missouri in 1970 after graduating from the University of Missouri in St. Louis. Went straight into the United States Marine Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant. After 11 years, married a woman from Australia and had one daughter. Left the Marine Corps in 1982 as a Captain and went to work in Dallas, Texas with Texas Instrument as a computer programmer. Work for Texas Instruments, Moore Business Systems, Electronic Data Systems (EDS) until 1985. Moved to Baltimore, MD in 1985 and worked as a computer programmer consultant until 1988. Graduated from the University of Baltimore with my Masters Degree in Information Systems (MIS). Moved to Northern Virginia and continued working as a computer programmer consultant until 1991. During the last year, I set up my own independent business. The recession on 1991 stopped that. Went to work for the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) for the federal government as a GS-12.
