John's Story
April 2022,
Recently I became a 55 year Freshman at Maine Maritime Academy, now a 56 year old Freshman about to finish my first year. I had the GI Bill from my time in the Army and after 1 1/2 years doing nothing with COVID, I could not just sit around the house and watch the grass grow getting fat and stupid. gy program, not sure if I will stick it out for the full four years, but for now it is a good place to be, as quality time with my wife and our little aging dog is the most important thing and going to school offers me that time. This finds me living in Bucksport, Maine as I attend school.
