John's Story
My family moved from River Oaks after I finished the 8th grade at Irma Marsh (class of 1969).
I went to school in Azle (and did the 8th grade again) and graduated from Lake Worth in 1970.
Married a girl from Lake Worth. Divorced after 8 years and married Dottie in 1979. I have one son, Kyle, by my first wife.

reer in 1972 at Fort Worth National Bank, later worked for Ross Perot at E.D.S. and worked for Deloitte until 2009.
In 2002 we bought a weekend place on Lake Worth, and in 2005 we decided to make that our primary residence (the Lodge).
I retired from technology in 2009, after 37 years!!!!!!! and now work at my church in accounting.
