Mary's Story
Life
It's been over 54 years since I graduated from St. Kevin's Grammar School and 50 years since I graduated from Sts. Peter & Paul High School. I married John Durkin in October of 1962. He graduated from St. Francis deSales Grammar School in 1954 and St. Francis deSales High School in 1958. We have two daughters, one son, two sons-in-law and five grandchildren. just retired from Northwest Indiana Special Education Cooperative in April 2005. John retired from the Chicago Police Department in 1999. We both like to travel and have recently joined the YMCA. I enjoy gardening, reading, bike riding and spending time with my grandchildren. Between the two of us we have 44 grandnieces and nephews and two great grandnieces and nephews. My sister Noreen also moved to Crown Point in 2001 and we visit family and old friends together. I would love to hear from old classmates.
