John's Story

After High School, I went to Chicago and attended DeVry Institute (now DeVry University). Did not complete course. Joined the USAF and was stationed at Otis AFB, Cape Cod, MA for 3 years where I was a Computer Maintenace Specialist.. During enlistment I got married to Satan's sister and had 2 children, 1 girl, 1 boy. After 4 year enlistment, was hired by IBM and maintained Large Mainframe Computers In Harrisburg for 13 years. in the Capitol buildings. I then landed a job iwith IBM, where for 12 years I became a Technical Writer in Poughkeepsis, NY writing theory and Maintance manuals for IBM large Mainframe computers. During IBM's right-sizing in 1992, left Full time employment and wrote manuals for IBM PC's...Expand for more
in Boca Raton, Florida. When contract ended, I worked as a contract Technical Writer for several companies, Including Xerox. In 1998 got a Technical Writer position for Computer Science Corp in Baltimore. After setting a very easy way to do their manuals , I was let go. Was hired by Lockheed Martin as a Technical Report writer on their contract with CMS. RETIRED!!!!!!! Bought a 31 foot travel trailer and went to Arizona for the Summer, and when it got too hot, went to Wyoming. 2 years later after winning battle with Cancer, Went back to Arizona for the winter. Am home now but after my doctor gives me a clean bill of health later in January, going back to Arizona. My travel trailer is in storage out there
