John's Story
In July 1958 I moved with my army officer father (ROTC head at AHS) to Okinawa and had a good junior and senior year experience. My class graduated 98 people. Next, West Point, the army signal corps, Vietnam and a wonderful two year assignment in Izmir, Turkey.

complete brigade's worth of buildings at Fort Bragg.
I have a 39 year old unattached son in Dallas and a 41 year old daughter in L.A. She has two young daughters who I dote upon when I can.
I saw Mike Broyles at Christmas 2008 in Dallas. He also left AHS in 1958. He is the only AHS person I have seen since 1958. The reconnection started a couple of years ago when Sue Brooks found me on Classmates.com. Then, happily, Dave Avelar also found me. I found my old Mr. Jackson's advisory mate, Nancy Longaker, there and have corresponded with her for over a year; she's in Chico. She put me on the reunion folks, so here I am.
I play a little golf, poorly, and volunteer at the airport USO and a museum, otherwise, I ponder life's mysteries.
